In our local used bookstore, I found a bookabout Swedish country houses. One of the pages had a beautiful hand-painted armoire with rustic folk flowers randomly scattered on the door panels. That beautiful image became the basis for this pattern, where motifs don’t have to be perfectly shaped or evenly spaced to be beautiful. Sometimes, in our perfect world of digital and mathematic designs, the authenticity of the human hand is what we crave.

Printing: Fabric and wallpaper are printed to order in the USA using a highly sustainable digital pigment printer. This allows for an infinite range of colors to capture the texture and color gradients of the hand-painted designs. The pigment printer uses the newest fabric and wallpaper printing technologies to bind pigments directly to the ground fibers using heat, without the need to pretreat the fabric and without creating any water waste. This produces a softer and more durable product than was possible with digital printing in recent past. Products are printed as ordered, meaning there is no wasted stock.
Roll size: The wallpaper comes in rolled panels that are 2’ wide. You may choose the length of the panels: 3’, 6’, 9’, or 12’.
Repeat: Each wallpaper panel is 24” wide, but the width of a single repeat varies by the design. For example, if a wallpaper design has an 8” repeat, it will repeat three times over a 24” wide sheet. The vertical repeat varies by design, and is listed above in the product description.
Ground: The wallpaper ground is a PVC-free Type II paper. It has a slight texture that mimics traditional linen wall coverings.
Installation: The wallpaper is non-pasted, and requires a paste-the-wall installation. It is a straight match between panels. The panels are non-overlapping at the edges.
Thickness: 18 mil.
